Chinese New Year Produce For Extra Sales

Chinese New Year is a great time to create colourful displays of various traditional and not-so traditional produce. You can score extra sales through creative displays and sweet-smelling citrus and exotic fruits.

Keep in mind plenty of golden-coloured fruit. Some examples include:

  • Oranges – these fruits traditionally represent wealth and prosperity.
  • Peaches – these traditionally represent longevity and health.
  • Mangoes – Pearl mangoes are selling very well at the moment.
  • Grapes – these represent bountiful harvests as they come in bunches.

Other exotic fruit includes dragon fruit, longans, mangosteens, rambutans and achachas. These will all add great colour to your displays.

The colour red is also considered to bring good luck and good fortune to all so capitalize on extra sales with red vegetable such as tomatoes and red capsicum.
