Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Looking for a colourful, guilt-free thirst quencher for these hot daysGive sugary soft drink the shove and try these simple, refreshing drinks featuring your favourite summer fruits! Your body will thank you after the endless stream of cocktails over the Chrissy period.

Fruit Infused Water

For a simple, calorie-free drink, turn to fruit-infused water. In a large pitcher, place the desired combination of fruit and herbs. Add ice and fill the container with water. For some added flavour, why not try using Cocosoul Coconut Water. Coconut water has no added sugar, no concentrates, no preservatives, and is lactose-free, vegan, gluten-free, cholesterol-free and is rich in electrolytes

The in-season, fruity combos we’re loving at the moment include:

      • Honeydew, Cucumber & Mint
      • Strawberry Basil & Lemon
      • Mango, Raspberry & Ginger
      • Watermelon & Blueberry

Iced Botanical Tonic

A classic take on the G&T and no, we’re not talking about gin & tonic (you’ve had enough of those!). We’re talking about Grapefruit & Botanical Tonic. With a wealth of benefits, the range from Green Street Kitchen is full of sugar-free, gut-loving goodness. This three-ingredient tonic only takes a few minutes to make and for some added fun, freeze fruit in your ice cubes!

      • Botanical Tonic
      • Grapefruit Slices
      • Ice Cubes

Tropical Summer Fruit Smoothie

      • 1 ½ cups mango chunks
      • 1 cup strawberries
      • 1 cup pineapple
      • 1 cup yoghurt
      • ½ cup ice

Take full advantage of the gorgeous mango that is in peak season by adding it to a thick, icy smoothie. Add fruit and ice and blend until fully puréed. Then add the yogurt and blend again until completely combined. Mungalli Organic Yoghurt is our top pick, made on full cream milk and is packed full of probiotics.
