Sun shines on Spring stone fruit
Divine Fruits launched the much-loved stone fruit from the South Burnett at Montague Brisbane Markets on Monday 7 October. Growers delighted in offering tastings of the beautiful Honey May yellow nectarines and Snow Angel white peaches. They were moreish let me tell you! It was a great opportunity for SEQ green grocers to chat with the growers and learn about the season’s harvest and varieties. Divine Fruit’s director Mira said that it’s always a wonderful experience connecting the green grocers with the growers as customers are interested to know about the growing regions. Local fruit shops are stocked up with deliciously healthy Kumbia stone fruit and there will be many more varieties harvested over the coming weeks as we grow closer to the Summer season.
We take great pleasure in supporting Australian growers and Divine Fruits does a great job spotlighting some of our fantastic Aussie growers.
