Jon Lievano

Compliance Officer

Jon began his career working in retail, and after 10 years he chose to pursue higher education. Upon completion of a B. EnvSci Hon., Jon secured work as a Technical and Scientific Assistant at the University of Queensland, School of Agriculture and Food Sciences (SAFS). This experience enabled Jon to work as a Certification Officer with Australian Certified Organic (ACO), specializing in primary production. During his time with ACO, he assisted hundreds of different organisations with compliance, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of different business operations and quality management systems.

Jon next accepted a position as a Quality Manager with a packhouse/wholesaler based on site at the Brisbane Fresh Produce Markets. He has since remained working in the markets. With his extensive experience and technical expertise, Jon ensures that Fruitlink’s internal management systems are applied in order and always provide customers with safe and high quality products.
